Missing jigsaw piece to represent hope of cure for type 1 diabetes

A recent announcement from the University of Oxford brings hope to millions of people with Type 1 diabetes.

Through a spectacular gift of £10 million from the Bukhman Foundation, the university hopes to significantly advance treatments and ultimately find a cure for the illness that affects tens of millions of  people globally.
