Now all top professional tennis players are incredible but one with Type 1 diabetes is some kind of superhero 💙

Not only is World Number 2 Alexander Zverez playing exceptional tennis in the blistering Wimbledon heat, he is showing the world how diabetes cannot be ignored – even when on the world stage of sport.

Zverez’s position within tennis has enabled him to have a positive impact on the sport, with organisers of the French Open changing their policy to allow injection of insulin on-court in 2023.

Whatever the outcome of this year’s Wimbledon championship Zverez has already won in my eyes.  He is an amazing example of someone who has powered through with his ambition in spite of diabetes 💙
