Nearly every time I open up my social media I am greeted my another post containing words of wisdom from The Marginalian. Since 2006, Maria Popova has been sharing poems, philosophies and art that she has discovered during her search for meaning.

One of my favourite posts features another inspirational women, Florence Nightingale, and shares her views around the healing power of nature and beauty for both the mind and body. Nightingale’s words remind us how impactful nature and beauty can be on our state of mind by lightening our anxieties, and recommends us not to take such pleasures fore granted.

The site is very much a “labour of love” for the author, as the site has remained free and is created solely by Popova. Take a look whenever you want to take a new perspective on life.
