Truly wonderful leadership

I have recently realised that I have a bit of a problem with the word “manager”.  I don’t need to be managed (most of the time), but I do want to be led, inspired, and most importantly, noticed…

I feel that as a disabled person, this is doubly important, as my illness also needs to be listened to and supported too sometimes.

So, I was incredibly pleased to discover the wisdom of Becca Lory Hector through the trailblazing website Inclusive Leadership.  As an autistic person herself Becca is able to offer some straightforward and practical advice and guidance to employers to help make their places of work more inclusive and empowering.  Becca is also striving to encourage and enable disabled people to become effective leaders themselves – really wonderful stuff.

Check out Becca’s website if you want to be inspired and encouraged to reach your own potential and to develop that of others you work with.
