Book corner#1

As a librarian who has worked within both public and academic libraries, I simply couldn’t stop myself from looking for and sharing useful books for both children and adults with diabetes.  I won’t pretend that I have read suggested books from cover to cover, but they will be titles that I think might be worth a closer look.

The Diabetic Dinosaur by Harry Edmanson sees Tommy the Dinosaur discovering that he has type 1 diabetes.  Helped by a witch doctor and his friends, Tommy soon discovers that he can still live his life and have fun!
