Brilliant badges

Stand proud and united by showing your support of the work that Diabetes UK do, by wearing one of their rather beautiful new pin badges. Not only are they affordable, they are discreet enough to wear anywhere and by any age – both diabetics themselves and people who support us!

I completely understand that not everyone wants to (or is comfortable) identifying as belonging to a particular group, but I truly believe that this is one of the ways in which we can challenge stereotypes and prejudice within society, in addition to raising awareness of how many people are affected by diabetes within the UK.

The win for me is that through wearing a simple badge we show support of one another and those who support us, by celebrating and being proud of our community identity.
